Temple organized a trip for us to go see a Japanese baseball game. We trekked all the way to Saitama (a whole other prefecture!) to see the Seibu Lions crush the Tokyo Swallows. I was tempted at first to root for Tokyo, it being my current home base, but once I felt the excitement of rooting for the home team, I was a Lions covert. Afterall, if they don't win, it's a shame!
I enjoyed sporting my Lions paraphenalia, cheering with the Lion and letting my blue Lion balloon go with the rest of the crowd during the 7th inning. And, to make the experience all the better, I ate a hotdog and french fries!
And in the end, WE WON! Go Lions!
