Yanagawa

After Beppu, we headed to the "Venice of Japan"- Yanagawa! It is a small town with canals throughout and Fiona and I took a lovely canal ride and then went to a museum to celebrate the life of a famous Japanese author named Kitahama. Neither of us have read his works, nor plan to, but it was something to do and a way to get out of the heat of the day.
