Day Trip to Kaga

We trekked all the way up these stairs expecting there to be a beautiful at the top and then there was just a restaurant- no view. Oh well.
Beautiful day for fall colors
At a temple
Lovely little waterfall and shed
Me at the foot onsen
On Saturday, Jess (a fellow JET) and I trekked the whole 50 minutes to a town called Kaga, just south of Kanazawa. We weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. It was a gorgeous day so we wandered around, went to a foot onsen (natural hotspring that you stick your feet in), had a wonderful yakisoba lunch at this hole-in-the-wall restaurant, saw some lovely scenery and just enjoyed the day. It was great!
