I am here!

I have arrived in Japan safe and sound. I spent the last two days at Tokyo orientation and tomorrow I will travel to Kanazawa where I will be living for the next year of my life. Orientation has been informative (ok, it was a little dry) and overwhelming. Jet lag is definitely setting in and I am looking forward to starting a routine in my new city.
